 My name is Shawn Robinson. I come from a extremely economically challenged community. My goal is to provide an opportunity to combat violence on the streets among our youth, and strive to provide a protective environment that will offer amazing alternative, while advocating integrity, commitment, teamwork and honest merit.Realizing that today's kids are presently under pressure and permanently at risk of joining a gang, the shaping of our future has me in demand to take a stand right now to help others pursue excellence by training our kids to entertain the totality of a positive train of thought. I plan to energetically influence a psychological response from all involved. My constant training of change in and out of gangs is expected to arouse positive activity and energy throughout the community.I monitor and mentor to kids age 4-12. I believe that these are the years for structure. In West Fresno our children are easily influenced by their surroundings, in knowing this I've decided to give them something to do other than play video games or watch the cars driving by. My passion comes from my past life, not wanting todays youth to go through the same struggles. To give them something to do enables my drive to see the success of those that are non privileged and under pressure. I will do everything in my power create a safe zone and instruct the at risk youth into a turn around. I met Sherry at the very beginning of this project i witnessed something special and knew I had to be involved. Creating this business model starting with our homeless veterans is a prototype to end poverty as a whole.
